ELF HAUL & REVIEW

If you don't already know, elf stands for Eyes Lips Face, and is an affordable, impressive makeup brand. If your in the uk, you can buy their product from eyeslipsface.com. Also you can buy it in store in the US as far as I am aware.

Resently I ordered some products from the website and they arrived a couple of day later. I was extremely impressed with the delivery.

I ordered 15 products however I would be here all day if I did them all  so I have chosen my top 6.

6) Complete Coverage Concealer £3.50 - This is a concealer palette with 4 different shades to match your personal skin tone, it comes in either Light Medium or Dark

Claim-  A must have for anyone’s makeup kit these highly pigmented, professionally formulated concealers offer ultimate coverage to disguise a range of boo-boos and flaws including blemishes, dark circles, redness and uneven skin-tone for a flawless, makeup artist finish!

My verdict- I was extremly impressed with how creamy the concealers are, however the coverage is quite sheer but buildable. I do not use this product everyday but it is a nice handy product to have in your bag for touch ups. In conclution a good product but not a the best.

5) High Definition Powder £6- This is a high definition loose powder creates a "soft focus" effect to the skin.

Claim- Masks fine lines and imperfections for a radiant complexion. The incredibly soft and invisible powder is great for on-screen and everyday wear.
My verdict- I agreee with the claim to a point, it does give my skin a soft feel to it however can be cakey. It is invisable and light weight. I do not use this all over the face becuase I have an oily T zone and I prefer using my Mac Mineralized Skin Finish Natural- In Light Plus, becuase it keeps the oil at bay. However I do like using this power under my eyes on top of my concealer becuase it does mask the fine lines. I also love the packaging however it's a little bulky for traverling. In conclution a really great powder which does what it claims.

4) Studio Matte Lip Colour £3.50 in Coral- This convenient jumbo sized lip pencil creates exact colour application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen

Claim- The pigment rich colour glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte colour. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.
My verdict- I really love the colour of this lipstick it's super pigmented and suits my skin tone perfectly ( I am rather pale ) It's easy to apply and like it claims you never have to sharpen it which is a bonus for traverling etc. However it does not last throughout the day I do see myself having to reaply the product. It's not very moisturizing at all, I found it very dry and I had to apply a chapstick over and under the product to get a hydrated yet pigmented look. In concluting I really enjoyed the colour and the idea of the product however it does not live up to the expectation for moisturization.

3) Wet Gloss Lash And Brow Clear Mascara £1.50- This is an almost clear mascara but can be used on eyebrows as well as the eyelashes.

Claim- Glossy, shiny healthy-looking lashes and brows with infused long wearing conditioning agents. Looking pulled together has never been easier!

My verdict- I 100% love this product, it does exactly what it says. In my opioun it is an eyebrow hairspray. After filling in my brows I apply this gel and my eyebrows look pefect and untouched throughout the day. Howver my only fault is I find myself throughout the day picking at my brows becuase they are quite crispy after a few hours. But I recken this is just me and may be differnt for you.

2) Studio Stipple Brush £3.50- This new antibacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more ansorbent and can be used with wet or dry products.

Claim- Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. Studio brush!
My verdict- I use this brush every single day, lightweight, perfect to blend powder products and blends well. The brush hairs are super soft and ansorbent. I use this brush with my Boujour Chocolate Bronzer and goes hand in hand, blends beautifully to create and soft glow. My only compaint is that it claims it can be used with a liquid product such as a liquid foundation however I have tried this and the brush is not dense enough to blend any kind of liquid. In conclution I love this brush, but a little misleading.

1) Studio Powder Brush £3.50- This new anti bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products.

Claim- Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush!
-Creates a professional sculpted look
-Full coverage color
-Use for powder or blush for perfect contouring

My verdict- This is one of the best brushes I have ever tried, it is dense enough to use with liquid foundation however soft enough to blend out powders blushes and bronzers. I use this brush everyday with my Boujour Healthy Mix Foundation and it blends pefectly to create and beautiful airbrushed finish. I have no faults. It's easy to clean and lovely sleek handle. It's flawless.

In conclution on all my products I was extremly happy with my order, I have found some really inpressive product and for their price it is amazing, I love elf products and will be ordering some more very shortly. If you would like to see some swatches of these products I can.
